The Husqvarna Group is the world's largest producer of chainsaws, lawn mowers and other petrol-powered garden equipment such as trimmers and leaf blowers, as well as one of the world's largest producers of garden tractors. Husqvarna is also one of the world's largest producers of cutting equipment for the construction and stone industries.
The Husqvarna Group will implement a new organization as of year-end 2009. The new organization will be implemented gradually as of 1 July 2009.
Instead of six business sectors, the new organization will comprise five operative units, i.e. Supply Chain, Products & Marketing, Sales and Service in Europe and Asia/Pacific, Sales and Service in North and Latin America, and Construction Products.
